PSALM 118:17 “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.”
Psalm 107:20 TPT says: “20 God spoke the words “Be healed,” and we were healed, delivered from death’s door!”
The first thing to do if you have heard the words spoken to you: “I’m sorry but you’re going to die,” is to say, “Yes one day I will die, but right now I plan to live and tell the world about it, Jesus came to deliver me from death’s door.”
I know of a woman who had cancer so bad that it metastasized to her bones. Her bones were so weak that the doctor told her, don’t even turn your head from side to side because you might break your neck. Every day in the hospital this woman would say, “I walk by faith and not by sight.” Her daughter could hardly bare to watch her mother suffer with such pain and agony. One day her daughter came to see her and lo and behold she was not in the bed, of course, her first thought was, OK she has passed away. But as she turned her head she looks and saw her mother sitting in the chair and said to her, “How did you get to that chair?” Her mother simply answered her… “I walked by faith and not by sight.”
Living on this earth for a believer is a journey of faith. Oh, how the body of Christ would be enriched if she could embrace the joy of walking day by day simply trusting that God is who He says He is for them. It’s so crucial that we not let our current circumstances dictate our future. Receiving life from God by faith goes back to knowing and understanding the promises that He has given us through His Son Jesus. Jesus said in John 10:10 that we have a thief and that he comes to steal, and to kill, and to destroy us. But Jesus came to deliver the best news we could ever ask for, He came to give us life and to give it more abundantly.
If you’re a believer, you have every right to look a death sentence from a Dr. in the eye and boldly say…” I WILL NOT DIE BUT LIVE AND DECLARE THE GOOD WORKS OF MY GOD”
Put your stake in the ground right now, draw a line in the sand, and be resolved to make a determined decision, that you will have what you already received in salvation where sickness and disease are concerned. Healing is a byproduct of the salvation we received when we were born again. Sickness and disease have no right to attach themselves to to us as believers. We have inherited the fullness of the life that resides in Jesus right now.
Proverbs 18:21 TPT says: “Your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences.” Jesus says in
Matthew 15:11 “Hear and understand, it’s not what goes in the mouth that defiles a man, it’s what comes out of the mouth that defiles him.”
That word defile means to pollute. James 3 says that the tongue can defile the whole body. Proverbs 6:2 says: You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of your mouth. Your tongue can be your best friend or your worst enemy. God told Joshua to not let the Word depart from his mouth. Don’t allow your mouth to harm to your body, but instead use your tongue as a weapon to fight back against doubt concerning sickness and win.
If you’ve gotten a terminal diagnosis from the Dr., put your tongue to work, and begin to speak out the Words of life from Jesus that He came to give you. Partner with Him by agreeing with Him in all your conversations. Simply say what He says about you, by the stripes of Jesus YOU ARE HEALED. Don’t let the words of death defeat you anymore. Tell those words of death spoken to you that Jesus has already defeated them and begin to speak forth the victorious words of life, healing, and wholeness!
Now begin to rejoice in the expected outcome of living a full and vibrant life until you are absolutely satisfied that you have ran your race and completed your assignment on this earth!!!
